I love the unique bracket-edge shape of the new Uppercrest Border Punch.  The shape actually reminds me of waves, and I thought it would be perfect to use to create double-sided punched strips for this layout of my son at the beach.  Try embellishing the strips with anything from sequins, to buttons, to machine stitching as I did here.

Instructions (Print version)

1. Start with a piece of white cardstock as page base.  Use another piece of smaller white cardstock as the base of the actual page content.

2. Punch various colored papers using the Uppercrest punch along one edge. Then trim, and punch the other edge.
3. Adhere punched strips to the white cardstock and trim edges/excess.
4. Add photo to right side.
5. Trim circle from cardstock using the Ultra Shape Xpress and circle template, adhere to page as title block.  Embellish with title and making waves punched shapes.
6. Add journaling strips.

7. Punch Soleil shape suns for top border and add pop up punch circle to center of each.
8. Matte white cardstock on brown and then adhere to page base.

9. Embellish strips with machine stitching, sequins, and buttons.
