I’ve been saving this shot of our two youngest granddaughters for a special layout! Sometimes I tend to save faves and then procrastinate actually scrapping them! I decided that they were perfect for the Fiskars summer theme, so I’m thankful for the push. I knew I wanted to incorporate lots of little details and texture through scallops and bits of ribbon and different types of materials. Using vintage trims, book pages and ledger paper is one of my favorite ways to give projects my signature vintage look.

1. Use the Fiskars Desktop Trimmer to trim 2 strips of pattern paper to 1”x8.5”. Then use the Threading Water and Scallop Sentiment Border Punches on long strips. Adhere layering to the top of the layout, which is 8.5”x11” sheet of white cardstock. Keep skinny strip that is left after punching borders.
2. Use Fiskars Desktop Trimmer to trim sheet of blue dot paper to 5.5” x 8.5” and then use Scallop Sentiment Border Punch along top edge. Adhere to layout at bottom edge. Adhere leftover skinny strips about ½” below scallop edge of blue dot paper.
3. Adhere 5”x7” photo to right side of layout, lining up with top border strips.
4. Use Tag You’re It Large Squeeze Punch on pattern paper, vintage ledger paper(or scrapbooking ledger paper), and pink cardstock. Use Hand Punch ¼” Circle on top of each of the 3 tags. Tie vintage ribbon through holes. Adhere tags to left of photo and add sticker letters for title.
5. Trim scrap of ledger paper to fit right above scallop blue dot paper and slightly tuck under photo. Handwrite journaling and adhere to page. Use Round n’ Round Squeeze Punch to create 5 circles using pattern paper. Tuck circles under journaling (or you can trim) and adhere to page. Machine stitch top border punch strip, titlework, scallops made from circles, and under bottom scallop.
6. Add vintage trim, with flower made using Oopsie Daisy Squeeze Punch and vintage button.
