Instructions:

  1. Begin by cutting two strips of the green print that are 4.5”x10”. Cut a piece of the yellow and yellow/green print that are the same size.
  2. Place right sides together and sew strips together as shown. Turn over and iron seams as shown.
  3. Layer a piece of batting, the pieced fabric and a solid piece of the green print (the later two pieces should be right sides together).
  4. Pin a store bought bib over the layers to use as your pattern. Cut out.
  5. Sew around edges with ¼” seam and be sure to leave a section open for turning.
  6. Trim overhang from seams and turn. Iron flat and sew around edges of bib, being sure to tuck in seams from the opening so that they are sewn in.
  7. Sew below each of the seams on the pieced front of bib.
  8. Add a button hole to one side of the bib and a small button to connect bib behind neck.
  9. Sew on three large buttons to the front of the bib.
