Designer: Lisa Truesdell
I wanted to make this shadow box as sweet as the tiny little hat that it holds.  I combined images stamped on paper with watercolor pencils for a pop of color, and then added heart stamped buttons to finish it off.  Some of the embellishments are inside the frame and some are on top of the glass, which adds to the dimension of the piece.

Instructions (Print version)

1. Trim cloud patterned paper to 8x10in.  Attach to the back of the shadow box.
2. Attach photo and baby hat to the background.
3. Punch 2 large circles and 1 smaller one from paisley patterned paper.  Stamp each one with a different image.  Add color to each image with watercolor pencils, then a blending pen to achieve the watercolor look.
4. Punch 2 large scalloped circles and 1 small one from the green patterned paper.  Layer your stamped circles to these scalloped circles.  Attach 2 of them near your photo and one on the outer glass over the baby hat.
5. Stamp 9 buttons with a heart stamp.  Tie thread through each button.  Add buttons near the stamped circles.
