Have you heard of bento boxes? Bento is a single portion or takeout meal in a box that is common in Japanese cuisine. I thought it was the perfect way to transport individual meals for a picnic! Pack up your next picnic in style with this fun & crafty box…

Instructions (Print version)

1. Measure the lid of your box. Trim a piece of patterned paper to the size of the top. Punch the edges of the paper with the Fiskars Scallop Sentiment Border punch. Adhere to top of box with tape runner.

2. Punch 5 squares of cardstock using the Fiskars Square-a-licious border punch. Adhere in a checkboard pattern.
3. Using foam dots for dimension, add ants to several squares (Fiskars Limited Edition Gettin Antsy squeeze punch)
4. Create a simple embellishment for a paper cup by punching a strip of cardstock with the Fiskars Apron Lace punch. Adhere just under the lip of the cup. 

5. Punch a strip of patterned paper with the Leave it to Weaver punch. Weave ribbon through, then adhere the ends to create a napkin ring. Slide a rolled napkin inside, and tie a bow.                                         

6. Add a handmade card. This one came together quickly with the Fiskars Round n’ Round, Gettin’ Antsy, and My Funny Valentine punches.
