• Required supplies:
• Cardstock – purple
• Vellum – clear
• Markers – pink, blue, purple
• Purple metallic star brads

Instructions (Print version)

1. Using rotary trimmer, cut a piece of purple cardstock to measure 9" X 6". Fold in half and score to create a card that measures 4 ½" X 6". Cut a piece of vellum paper to measure 5 ½" X 8 ½". Fold in half and score to create a card that measures 4 ¼" X 5 ½".
2. Insert one flap of vellum card between two stencils and center for placement. Emboss all shapes except for corner stars onto vellum. Remove card from stencils.
3. Flip card over and color backside of all embossed areas (except "congratulations") using markers. Allow to dry for several minutes.
4. Slide vellum card over spine of purple card. Align in the center of the card.
5. Using hand punch, punch once in each corner of embossed areas where stars would have been embossed, punching through both purple and vellum layers.
6. Insert one star brad into each hole and spread backing pieces apart to hold in place.
