I purchased a cheap white t-shirt and added my own touch to it with stitched on appliques. Use the Fiskars Butterfly Shape Template to help make beautiful butterflies out of your favorite fabrics. Instructions (Print version) 1. Use Fiskars Butterflies 1 and Butterflies 2 Shape Templates to trace butterflies onto scraps of fabric. Make sure to trace a variety of sizes and use a variety of fabrics. Iron on to heat bond adhesive and use Fiskars No. 8 Scissors to cut out the butterflies.
2. Remove protective backing from the heat bond adhesive and arrange butterflies onto the shirt.
For an added touch, place a butterfly onto the backside of the shirt. Press butterflies to adhere to the shirt. Stitch inside each of the butterflies.
3. Handstitch a button into the middle of each of the butterflies.
