Intro: I think one of the best ways to document important events, is to print out numerous photos in a collage style, either at home or through a photo lab. I simply create a new document in photoshop, and then place my photos on the new document and print or have it printed. For this project I actually created two 8x10 documents and then cut them apart and fit them together. Before I figured photoshop out, I would simply print different sizes out and trim them to fit in a orderly collage. It always feels great to me to include as many photos of an event as I can.

Instructions (Print version)

1. Gather photos from your event. Start a new photoshop document (or two) and fit as many of your event photos as you would like and print. For this layout, there are 2 vertical 4x6s, 2 vertical 3x4, and then 1-2x2.5 and 1-2x3.5. Use the Fiskars Desktop Rotary Trimmer to trim down to the sizes needed.
2. Set focal photo aside and work with other photos for collage first. When creating a 2 page spread, tape the back sides together while assembling. Layout photos out starting on bottom right side of spread. Adhere the 2-3x4 photos to bottom right, add 4x6 photo above on left side, then the 2 smaller photos to the right.
3. Use Desktop Rotary Trimmer Scallop  to trim Pinstripe Paper to ½ x10 inch strip and ½ x6 inch strip. Adhere along side and top of collage.
4. Use Desktop Rotary Trimmer (straight edge) to trim Flocked Dots Paper to 2x11 inches. Adhere strip to far left side. The adhere 4x6 photo to slightly overlap Flocked Dots Paper and 1.5 inches from top. Tack Ribbon around photo to frame, then machine stitch in place. Add Flocked Swirl to top left of photo.
5. Add Printed Alpha Stickers for title and trace around with black pen.
6. Handwrite journaling on Journal Mount Sticker and use Fiskars Pinking Edger along bottom edge. Stick below photo. Handwrite “beginning” on vintage ledger paper and add to journaling. Using ledger paper, type or print “we were” and add above focal photo.
7. Add Glitter Flower to titlework between “celebrating” and “you”. Add Flocked Swirl Sticker below “you”.
8. Handwrite more journaling on Chipboard Printed Titles and add to center of collage.
