Checklist for the Beach

As Spring Break approaches, I’m trying to get my teenager to remember all of the things that she needs to pack for her trip to the beach. Using the Fiskars Summer Squeeze punches, I created this fun little “Don’t Forget” door hanger. It’s quick & easy, cute, and gives this worried Mom a little peace of mind.

Instructions (Print version)

1. Using the Fiskars Portable Trimmer, cut a base piece of cardstock to the size of your door hanger. Mine is 5” x 10.5”.
2. Create the top of the door hanger by punching notches using the Fiskars XL Block Party Squeeze Punch (hint: punch ½ of a square on each side) and the Fiskars XL Round & Round Punch
3. Create your checklist & print on cardstock. Adhere to your base door hanger.

4. Use the Fiskars Texture Plates & Embossing Stylus to add extra dimension to scrap pieces of cardstock.

5. Use the Fiskars Summer Squeeze punches (Soleil & Making Waves ) to punch shapes out of the embossed cardstock

6. Add even more interest by painting over your punched shape with Glitter Glaze.
7. Use the Fiskars Boundary Waters border punch with a strip of coordinating cardstock. Adhere to the bottom of the checklist.
8. Adhere the punched shapes with foam dots.
9. Add a title (“Don’t Forget”) with glittered alphabet stickers.
