diamonds...Click image to enlarge Designer: Kendra McCracken On this layout, I decided I wanted to use the title to frame the 3 main photos of my son making a Christmas present for my mother-in-law, but felt using just letter stickers would still leave the title looking weak and disconnected from the design. By adding a wide border above and below the photos using the All A-Fleur Embossing Border Punch, the title is grounded and looks like an intentional part of the design. This is one of the countless ways a Fiskars tool can be used to add impact to a title on a layout! Difficulty rating
Instructions (Print version) 1. Cut 1/2" off the top and one side of a sheet of Kimberly Poloson Antique Flourish paper from the Cabana Blooms line. Mount this on a sheet of Mono Flourish paper from the same line. 2. Punch along the top edge of a sheet of Ink by Steph Moonlight paper from the Seascape line using the All A-Fleur Embossing Border Punch. Cut this into a 1" wide strip (measuring from the tip of the punched design) using the 12" Premium Crafter's Trimmer and cut the strip to 10" long. ![]() 3. Mount (3) 3" x 4 3/4" photos about 2" from the top of the layout. 4. Attach a length of vintage lace trim and a strip of contrasting fabric along the bottom of the layout, making sure to leave a section of the fabric along the left side unattached so embellishments can be layered under it. 5. Add 2 wallet-sized photos to the right side of the trims. 6. Layer an Ink by Steph journaling plate, Boxcars chipped design, and Beacons layered sticker between the lace trim and fabric strip. 7. Journal on the journaling plate.
