- Required supplies:
- Lavender gift bag
- Cardstock - Lavender, lilac and lemon yellow
- Lavender bead
- Craft bond glue
- Gold beading ribbon
- Gold ribbon
- Glue Pen
- Photo Stickers
- Tweezers
Instructions
(Print version)
- Cut a piece of lilac cardstock to measure 4" X 5". Punch each of the 4 corners with dragonflies on Bugs 3-in-1 punch. Cut a piece of yellow cardstock to measure 3" X 4". Trim edges with Deckle Paper Edgers. Use photo stickers to adhere yellow piece to center of lilac piece.
- Using Shape Cutter ™ with Hearts Shape Template ™ and craft mat, cut (2) 1" hearts from lavendar cardstock. Cut hearts in half and trim excess off to form wings. Punch 4 circles from same cardstock using hand punch. Adhere all pieces (using glue pen and tweezers) to form dragonfly's body. (you will adhere head a little later)
- Wrap gold beading ribbon around upper left and lower right corners of cardstock layers. Adhere behind cardstock using photo stickers. Adhere this entire section to front of bag using photo stickers.
- Apply a small dot of craft glue just above dragonfly's body and apply bead for head. Tie gold ribbon into bow and adhere to upper right corner of bag using craft glue. Trim ends and lay bag on backside to dry overnight.
