Instructions
(Print version)
- Cut a 3” x 6”and a 3” x 2” piece of tan cardstock. Use a stylus and the Basketweave Texture Plate to emboss the pattern onto both pieces (front side down).
- Turn pieces over to right side and lightly sand the embossing.
- Use a sewing machine to straight stitch the 3” x 2” piece to the bottom of the larger piece - creating a pocket. (Only stitch the three outside edges).
- Use the paper trimmer to cut small strips of the Sage patterned paper.
- Crinkle the paper and place in the pocket to create the grass.
- Use the You’re Invited Stencil Set and the CardBoss Embossing System to emboss a variety of flowers from the pink and yellow cardstock.
- Lightly sand the flowers and use the Micro-Tip scissors to cut out about 1/8” away from the embossing.
- Attach buttons, beads, brads, or eyelets in the center of the flowers.
- Attach each flower to a piece of stem wire and bend to shape.
- Insert ends of wire into the pocket and attach flowers to tag with foam mounting squares or glue dots.
- Tie a ribbon around the bottom of the tag and a bow.
Variations: Fill pocket with Easter grass and fill with small candies or a wrapped chocolate bunny. Add a sentiment if desired.
