Instructions (Print version)

  1. Cut a 3” x 6”and a 3” x 2” piece of tan cardstock.  Use a stylus and the Basketweave Texture Plate to emboss the pattern onto both pieces (front side down).
  2. Turn pieces over to right side and lightly sand the embossing.
  3. Use a sewing machine to straight stitch the 3” x 2” piece to the bottom of the larger piece  - creating a pocket.  (Only stitch the three outside edges).
  4. Use the paper trimmer to cut small strips of the Sage patterned paper.
  5. Crinkle the paper and place in the pocket to create the grass.
  6. Use the You’re Invited Stencil Set and the CardBoss Embossing System to emboss a variety of flowers from the pink and yellow cardstock.
  7. Lightly sand the flowers and use the Micro-Tip scissors to cut out about 1/8” away from the embossing.
  8. Attach buttons, beads, brads, or eyelets in the center of the flowers.
  9. Attach each flower to a piece of stem wire and bend to shape.
  10. Insert ends of wire into the pocket and attach flowers to tag with foam mounting squares or glue dots.
  11. Tie a ribbon around the bottom of the tag and a bow.

Variations:  Fill pocket with Easter grass and fill with small candies or a wrapped chocolate bunny.  Add a sentiment if desired.
