Embellished Dish Towel

• Required supplies:
• Cotton dish towel
• Fabrics with a small print: dark green, light green, and yellow
• Embroidery floss: green and yellow
• Needle
• Iron-on adhesive
• Scissors can be in place of Rotart Cutter if needed

Instructions (Print version)

For the Fabric band

1. Cut a piece of light green fabric 5.5” tall x the width of the towel. Press under ¼” on each of the long sides of the fabric band.
   
   
2. Iron adhesive to the back of the dark green and yellow fabric.
   
   
   
3. Cut the following fabric shapes with the Ultra ShapeXpress:

one yellow 4.5” square, one yellow and two dark green 2” circles, two yellow and one dark green flowers

4. Arrange the fabric shapes on the fabric band. See photo for placement. Iron the shapes in place. 
   
   
5. Blanket stitch around all shapes with matching embroidery floss.
   
   
6. Pin the fabric band to the towel. Stitch the band to the towel. Turn the ends under for a finished edge.
