Embossed Celebrate! Card

A special card to celebrate a special day.

• Required supplies:
• Cardstock paper - periwinkle, white
• Rubber stamping inks - blue, orange, purple
• Ribbon - purple and black checks
• Adhesives - tape runner
• Cotton balls

Instructions (Print version)

1. Cut a piece of periwinkle cardstock to measure 11" X 5 1/2". Fold in half and score to create a square 5 1/2" card.
2. Cut a piece of white cardstock to measure 5" X 5 1/4". Insert this piece between stencils on CardBoss tray. Emboss all areas on stencil. Remove top stencil and embossed piece of cardstock. Flip both over, then place stencil on top of embossed piece. Use top stencil as an inking stencil and ink all embossed areas by rubbing a cotton ball onto inkpad, then over embossed areas. Tear off bottom edge of this piece. Using rubber stamp ink pad, swipe edges of this piece onto inkpad for inked, distressed edges. Adhere this piece to front flap of card.
3. Cut a piece of ribbon to measure 13". Wrap around front flap of card. Tie in knot. Trim ends of ribbon as desired.
