Instructions
(Print version)
-
Use craft knife to trim foam board to 8x10 inches.
-
Trim 3 strips of fabric, using rotary cutter and craft mat. In example, bottom strip (orange polka dots) measures 3x10. Middle strip (stripes) measures 2x10. Top strip (orange motif) measures 8.5x10.
-
Pin 3 pieces together and machine stitch (straight stitch) where striped portion meets other two fabrics.
-
Center fabric on foam board, and wrap edges around to back and adhere. Enforce adhesive with fabric glue if needed.
-
Trim green fabric (with pinking shears) slightly larger than 4x6 photo. Lightly adhere photo to fabric, and then machine stitch edges of photo with zigzag stitch.
-
Using fabric glue, adhere fabric-matted photo to fabric-covered foam board.
-
Adhere chipboard letters and heart directly over photo.
-
Hang photo décor by ribbon – adhere ribbon to backside of foam board with fabric glue. Example uses 2 ribbons, pre-machine stitched together prior to securing behind décor.
