First Fall

I love adding little strips of photos to my layouts.  Fun shots, outtakes, whatever: it just really adds to the visual interest of a layout!  Try it with this sketch!  I even included a pocket for the journaling since I really wanted my photos to shine.

Instructions (Print version)

1. Cut Pinstripe paper to 3 ½ x 12 and place adhesive on left, right and bottom edges of piece.  Adhere flush to bottom of (green side) Décor Stripe. (this will be a pocket)
2. Cut Punchboard border about 2 inches from one end and adhere the pieces across the top of the Pinstripe paper flush to ends.
3. Add Glitter Flowers to space in between Punchboard border.
4. Add three small photos to lower right of Pinstripe strip.  Snip Punchboard bookplate about ½ inch from end and adhere on either side of the photos.  Add brads and cardstock to finish/embellish.
5. Add name/date to bookplate with journaling alphabet rub ons.
6. Mount 4 x 6 photos to upper portion of page.
7. Cut a 3 x 5 inch piece of ivory cardstock and punch with Chip Off the Ole Block Squeeze punch to create tag.  Add tab sticker to top and punch with ¼ Hand Punch.  (Stitch tag with machine) Add tag to pocket.
8. Create title with a mix of chipboard alphas, satin stickers, flocked stickers and rub ons.
9. Accent top two corners with Overlay Embellishment Rub Ons and add a brad to the corners.  Machine stitch around top (green) portion of page.
10. Round all four corners of layout with Corner Squeeze Punch.
