Flower Embossed Frame

Craft a frame for your memories!

• Required supplies:
• Cardstock: (yellow, white)
• Frame: (wood)
• Paint: (white acrylic)
• Accents: (yellow buttons)
• Fibers: (white organdy ribbon, white crochet thread)
• Adhesive: decoupage medium, dots, tape
• Tools: needle, paintbrush, foam paintbrush
• Other: pencil

Instructions (Print version)

1. Paint frame and let dry.
2. Trim yellow cardstock several inches larger than frame; emboss with dots texture. Note: If Texture Plate is too small to emboss entire cardstock piece, emboss in sections, being careful to align embossed pattern correctly.
3. Trim embossed piece to fit frame, leaving 1z8" of each frame edge exposed.
4. Decoupage to frame, following manufacturer's instructions; let dry.
5. Dry-brush frame with paint to highlight embossed pattern.
6. Emboss one large and two small flowers on white cardstock, using Page Layout Dreamy ScrapBoss 12" x 12" Stencil and Starter Stencil Set from ScrapBoss Embossing System Starter Set. Cut out, allowing 1z8" around edges.
7. Stitch thread through button holes and knot in front. Adhere button to center of each flower.
8. Adhere knotted length of ribbon to top corner of frame and adhere large flower to center with adhesive dots; adhere small flowers.
