Designer: Katrina Simeck Send good fortune to friends & family with this cute project…what a great way to celebrate Fortune Cookie Day on September 13th! Stamps offer a great way to create personalized “fortune” strips. Tuck the fortunes into paper cookies, add to a decorated take out container and you’ve got a great gift.

1. Start with a blank take out box (available at most craft stores). Trim patterned paper to fit side and top of box. The Fiskars fingertip craft knife makes it easy to cut around the tabs on the top of the box. 2. Use the XL Comma, Comma Chameleon punch, glitter flowers, and a small brad to embellish the front of the box. 3. Create a gift tag with XL Tag, You’re It punch and adhere to handle with ribbon. 4. To create the fortune cookies, begin with 4 inch round circles of patterned paper. a. Use a scoring blade to score circles in quarters.
 b. Fold circle in half, and adhere center edge with adhesive. c. Fold along middle score to create cookie shape. 5. To create fortune strips, stamp sentiments on plain cardstock. Write in additional messages to create fortunes. Cut into strips and insert into paper cookies. [insert
