Garden Party

I love the idea of a Garden Party! It’s a chance to reminisce with friends and to create new memories as well. These party items were made with Heidi Grace Designs Only Time and Day Dream Believer beautiful collections of patterned papers. Try creating your own invitations, favors and thank you notes with Fiskars Squeeze Punches, Shape Template tools and Clear Stamps.

Thank You Note Instructions:
1. Create 4x6 notecard from white cardstock.
2. Cut 2 ½” and 3” circles from contrasting patterned paper; layer and trim larger circle with Scallop Paper Edger. Adhere to front of card 1 ½” from the top.
3. Squeeze Punch flower shapes; layer; use Foam Dot under center of flower; and adhere in center of scalloped circle.
4. Border Punch patterned paper and adhere to top of center area.
5. Cut 1 ½” x 6” strip of patterned paper and adhere to bottom or center area.
6. Stamp thank you on white cardstock; adhere to outside center bottom.
Invitation Instructions:
1. Cut 12 x 6 piece of cardstock
2. Score lines along 3” and 9” marks and create a gate folded cards.
3. Cut 6” square from patterned paper; cut in half (3”x6”); and adhere each piece to each side of the gated card.
4. Open up card, then using Ultra ShapeXpress and Shape Template cut 1/2 of 2” circle on each side 1 ½” from top. This will create a 2” opening in the gated card front.
5. Cut 2 ½” and 3” circles from contrasting patterned paper; layer and trim larger circle with Scallop Paper Edger. Adhere inside card so that it is visible through card opening.
6. Squeeze Punch flower shapes; layer; use Foam Dot under center of flower; and adhere in center of scalloped circle inside card.
7. Border Punch patterned paper and adhere to top of center area.
8. Cut 1 ½” x 6” strip of patterned paper and adhere to bottom or center area.
9. Stamp party information on white cardstock; Corner Punch corners and adhere to inside center bottom.
10. Close card; Squeeze Punch Brackets and adhere to outside on either side of cut out circle.
Favor Instructions:
1. Plant small plants in 3” terra cotta flower pots.
2. Border Punch 12” length of patterned paper and trim to width of flower pot rim.
3. Cut ¼ - 3/8” x 12” strip of contrasting paper; adhere to Border Punched strip and adhere to flower pot rim.
4. Arrange Tags & Words clear stamps on Stamp Block; stamp on patterned paper and trim around shape.
5. Adhere square to contrasting pattern paper; trim with Scalloped Paper Edgers; adhere to craft stick and place in pot.
