Green Metal Believe Frame

• Required supplies:
• MDF Frame, Primed
• Green, light green paint
• Crackle Medium
• Blue, Yellow Alcohol Ink & Flet Applicator
• Silver Foil
• Sandpaper
• Strong Adhesive (Such as E6000)
• Fiskars Titanium Nitride No. 5 Micro-Tip Scissors

Instructions (Print version)

1.                  Paint Frame with medium green. Apply two coats if needed.

2.                  Brush one thin coat of crackle medium to frame according to package directions. Paint over crackle medium with light green paint.

3.                  Cut two pieces of foil to 4x3” and 5x5” with Titanium Scissors. Handle foil with care – it can be sharp! Cut out corner from smaller piece for photo.

4.                  Emboss foil with ScrapBoss Template, starting with the word “believe . . .” Emboss Heart, tulips, and leaves. Fill empty spaces with smaller flowers and swirls from template.

5.                  Using alcohol ink felt applicator, apply blue and yellow ink to the frame at the same time – adjust amount of each color to get desired shade of teal green. The alcohol ink can be reapplied over and over until desired look is achieved. 

6.                  Gently sand surface of copper with fine sandpaper to distress.

7.                  Glue foil to frame front. Use bone folder to press down sharp corners around edges if needed.
