Here’s a fun home décor item for your little girl’s room that will also help you keep track of how quickly she’s growing.  Possibilities are endless with Fiskars and Cloud 9 Stamps that make this project a snap.

Instructions (Print version)

1. Attach a picture hanger piece to back of board.
2. Basecoat front of wood with acrylic paint.
Note: I basecoated the board with light blue; then applied a crackle medium; followed by another coat of white paint (sponged along the edges) to create the crackle effect.  Let each coat dry before applying the next. 
3. Measure inches and lightly mark with a pencil; then stamp with small floral stamps.
4. Stamp numbers along each mark, beginning at 25 and ending at 59.
5. Paint vines up the center and left side of the board.
6. Stamp and emboss flowers on colored cardstock; further color with markers or colored pencils.
7. Cut flowers out using Ultra ShapeXpress tool with freehand attachment.
8. Evenly space and adhere flowers to vine.
9. Cut butterfly shapes; layer and adhere to board; further embellish with Rain Dots.
10. Lightly brush each flower with Glitter Glaze and let dry.
11. Hang board 24” high off the floor.

Suggestions: To mark your child’s progress, use the small stamps in a stamp set or Rain Dots (center of inch mark flowers) and write the date in permanent ink.
