Halloween Treat Container

Create a festive container for your Halloween treats!

• Required supplies:
• Can w/plastic cover (peanut can, chai tea can, etc.)
• Cardstocks: black, purple, olive
• Ribbon – green polka-dot
• Rubber stamp ink – olive
• Cotton ball
• Sandpaper (for texturizing paper)
• Brad – 1 silver
• Adhesives

Instructions (Print version)

1. Cut one or two pieces of black cardstock the correct size to cover treat can.  Adhere these pieces to can.
2. Cut a piece of green ribbon to measure 20”.  Wrap around can and tie in bow.
3. Insert a piece of olive cardstock between stencils on Mini ShapeBoss.  Emboss the word “treats” across this piece.  Trim around this piece.  Using sandpaper, sand across olive piece to scuff the paper.  Adhere this piece to purple cardstock.  Tear purple cardstock around olive piece, leaving approximately ¼” torn border.  Sand edges of purple piece of cardstock. 
4. Ink cotton ball with olive ink. Drag cotton ball over embossed piece.
5. Apply brad to upper right corner of olive piece.
6. Adhere both layers to can on top of ribbon.
