Hanukkah Joy

Designer: Deb Perry

I love muti-tasking tools and Fiskars New Tool Taxi fits the bill. I used the craft knife extension to trim my paper, the rub-on stylus to apply the candle flames, the glue and applicator to adhere my shapes and as an embossing agent to adhere the snowflake glitter.  You’ve gotta love a tool that will do all that!

  4. Squeeze Punch a snowflake from Flocked Patch paper. Fill in the negative space around the snowflake with the aqua pencil. Trace shape on to chipboard and cut out with Ultimate Craft Scissors. Ahere paper snowflake to chipboard with Glue and Applicator…set aside. Sand edges when dry.
  5. Emboss center of snowflake using the same steps in #3. Adhere snowflake shape to card FRONT CENTER.
  6. Use a pencil to draw menorah shape on to chipboard. Cut outer shape with craft scissors. Use craft knife extension of tool taxi to hollow out negative areas (see photo).  Apply color to front of menorah shape with colored pencil. Emboss using same steps in #3. Adhere menorah to card FRONT RIGHT.
  7. Use Rub-On Stylus to apply small (cut apart) flower petals as candle flames.
