Ice Cream Social Invite

Nothing says summer like ice cream! This card combines scraps of sherbet bright papers and fabrics into the perfect invite to an ice cream social.

Instructions (Print version)

Card outside:

1. Trim white cardstock to 4.25inx5.5in.
2. Attach a strip of brown fabric to the bottom of the card.
3. Use the UltraShape Express and the Ovals template to cut half of an oval from polka dot paper.
4. Use the scallop sentiment punch on a strip of striped paper. Attach to the top of the half oval, then attach the oval to the front of the card.
5. Punch XL circles from pink and green paper, and a L circle from orange paper. Arrange as shown in your oval “bowl”.
6. Add a button “cherry” on top of your circles and draw a stem and leaves above it.
7. Stamp “join us” on a strip of yellow paper. Attach over a scrap of pink fabric and adhere it to the top left corner of your card.
8. Stitch around the border of your card, and across the top of your bowl.

Inside of card:
1. Trim a rectangle of pink patterned paper. Arrange stamps for “date”, “time”, “place” and “rsvp” on your stamp block, then stamp on the patterned paper. Write in details. Attach to the inside of the card.
2. Trim another rectangle of green patterned paper. Write the party details on the paper, then attach next to the pink patterned paper.
3. Use the scallop sentiment punch on a strip of striped patterned paper and attach to the top of the pink and green patterned paper.
4. Stitch around the border of the patterned papers.
