This includes when I head out for a walk or hit the gym - I need my tunes but I also can't carry it the whole time. Solve this problem by creating an easy to sew armband and case for your MP3 player. Pull out your Fiskars sewing tools to whip this project up in a quick half an hour. Make sure to use heavier fabric depending on the weight of your MP3 player and have fun! Difficulty rating
Instructions (Print version) 1. Measure fabric to create a pocket for the case, leaving .5" of excess on both sides and the bottom. My iPhone is 2.75x4.75, so I cut the fabric to be 3.25x5.25. Cut fabric using your Fiskars Rotary Trimmer and iron. 2. Cut fabric with your Fiskars Rotarty Trimmer to fit the bottom half of the case making it 2x5.25 tall. Iron and pin onto the main fabric for the case. Adhere a strip of ribbon with fabric glue. Fold in half with the pattern on the inside. Stitch the side and bottom, leaving the top of the case open.  3. To create the flap for the case, measure fabric to be 3x5.25. Cut fabric using your Fiskars Rotary Trimmer and iron, then fold in half with the pattern on the inside. Use Fiskars Rotary Trimmer to cut each side into a diagonal. Stitch all the sides, leaving an opening to turn it right side out. Use fabric glue to close the opening. Stitch flap onto the backside of the case. Stitch a button onto the front of the flap. Add velcro to keep the flap closed. 4. To create the armband for the case, measure fabric to be 2x10. Cut fabric using your Fiskars Rotarty Trimmer and iron, then fold in half with the pattern on the inside. Stitch on al the sides, leaving an opening to turn it right side out. Use fabric glue to close the opening. Measure band to fit your arm and add velcro. Stitch armband onto the backside of the case.
