I adore Fiskars new pumpkin shaped squeeze punch for Fall!  It was perfect for this festive page that I wanted to create about my son’s Halloween costume last year.  To add a little extra touch to my pumpkin shapes – I first stamped and embossed orange cardstock with a pattern stamp – then once dry, simply punched over it.  I pieced a variety of punched colors together to create the perfect little unique and custom accents for my scrapbook layout.

Instructions (Print version)

1. Start with a base sheet of forest green cardstock.  Construct center “collage” portion of page using a trimmed down 10.5 inch square piece of leaf green cardstock as the collage base.
2. Add piece of purple cardstock to middle, and patterned paper to top.  Adhere 3 photos to center and then add strip of tan cardstock to bottom of photos – where purple cardstock meets green.  Add strip of blue cardstock between purple and patterned paper.
3. Use Fiskars stamp block to stamp pattern stamp (embossing ink) onto orange cardstock.  Sprinkle with embossing powder, heat set, then once dry punch shape from area that you stamped and embossed.

4. Layer orange punched pumpkin body onto large punched circle shape.  Punch additional brown pumpkin shape (for stem) and green pumpkin shape (for leaf).  Adhere small brown stem and then green leaf to top of pumpkin.  Back large circle punch onto additional XL circle punch.  Create as many of these custom embellishments as you would like for your page – vary the background color of the circles to coordinate with your patterned paper.  Adhere them to your page using Fiskars adhesive foam.
5. Add title to bottom of page.
6. Add journaling strip on blue cardstock to blue strip at top of page.
7. Punch various colors of fall leaf shape – adhere around page, accent with adhesive rhinestones.
8. Matte collage section onto tan cardstock, then adhere to forest green background cardstock.
