MetamorphosisClick image to enlarge Designer: Lisa Storms The Premium Cut-Line Trimmer is a great tool for creating projects on a budget. With its precise cutting, I was able to cut out perfect quilling strips out of scrap cardstock to create embellishments for pennies. This was my first time every quilling, and I think I'm hooked. I expected to have to practice a bunch, but my very first try was this butterfly. I love the impact it adds without the cost. And paired with today's swirl and trendy patterns, this longtime craft seems to breathe new life. The wire cutting guide allowed me to easily cut apart my journaling strips, always knowing exactly where it would cut ahead of time. And one nice perk I fell in love with was that the height of the base is a little more than 12 inches. This allowed me to cut patterned papers with the extra title strip that usually comes attached without first cutting them down. Sometimes it's those little things that we truly appreciate!
