Instructions (Print version)

To make the dress, score letter sheet ¾” from the edge of one of the 11” sides.  Border Punch – Flowers both 11” sides of this paper.  Fold the marked score over to form the bust line of the dress.

Lay the paper over Barbie and slightly cinch the waist noticing where the pleats naturally fall from the bust to the waist, about 1 ¾” off the center of the doll.  Remove the paper dress from the doll and with your fingers press in the pleats.  Lay the paper back over the doll and wrap around the doll.  Notice the extra paper at the back of the doll.  Fold each 8 ½” side of the dress under about ¾”.  You may press this edge with your fingers or score with the trimmer.  Add Velcro to the back of the dress.  Apply one piece at the back and one piece below the waist.

Braid three 1 foot sections of white ribbon, tying off at each end.  Wrap around Barbie’s waist and tie at the back allowing the extra ribbon to fall down the back.

Corner Punch – Flowers 9 flowers for the dress from white card stock.  Color the center of each flower with silver gel pen.  Use the glue stick to adhere 3 flowers to the bust and 6 flowers to the skirt of the dress.

Add a train to the dress at the back of the waist using white mulberry papers.  Send one of the 6 ½” sides through the Crimper .  Trim one of the 4 ¼” sides with Paper Edgers – Seagull to make the hem of the train.  Glue the train to the back of the dress.

For the necklace – apply one flower to a 1 foot length of white ribbon.  The flower is made the same as for the dress flowers.  Tie at the back of the neck.

The crown and veil - trim white card stock 1 ¼” x 5”.  Border Punch – Flower both 5 inch sides, careful to punch from the center each time to make the flowers line up.  Make a circle and glue.  Use the Crimper on two white mulberry papers.  Place the 6 ½” side of each paper through the Crimper and edge the hems of the veils with Paper Edgers – Seagull.  Glue one of the veils to the inside of the crown.  Trim the second veil about one inch so it’s shorter than the other.  Glue to the outside of the crown.  Decorate the back of the crown with 5 flowers made just like the ones for the dress.
