Paper Lantern

Craft a paper lantern.

• Required supplies:
• Cardstock: cranberry, green, tan, pale orange
• Adhesive: large glue dots, 1/4” adhesive tape
• Fiskars gold metallic photo writer

Instructions (Print version)

1.          Cut a 6^1/2” x 2^1/2” piece from cranberry.

2.          Cut a 6 x 2 piece from green.

3.          Change the blade to the scoring blade and score the centers lengthwise of all strips.

4.          Cut 4 oak leaves using the shapecutting tool.

5.          Using the gold metallic photo writer, draw veins on the oak leaves

6.          Punch corners on all cranberry strips with round corner punch.

7.          Punch center sides of all green strips with elegance border punch.

8.          Place glue dots on the center back of the green strips and carefully center and place green strips into cranberry strips as you would a photo.  Use glue dots to secure.

9.          Adhere cranberry strips to the sides of the lantern using 1/4” adhesive tape.

10.   Place glue dots onto back 5 tips of each leaf and place as desired onto sides of lantern.
