bridal (photo) cardClick image to enlarge Designer: Kelly Purkey I recently attended a bridal shower for a friend and the hostess requested that we bring photos of the bride-to-be. I thought this was such a great idea to share some of our favorite snapshots and knew that she would appreciate having them. Instructions (Print version)
1. Trim a 12x12 cardstock down to a 7x10.75 piece. Create two flaps by folding the paper at 3.25" and 8.25" - the smaller flap will be the top and the larger flap the bottom. Round corners with Twist & Flip corner punch. Use Apron Lace punch directly in the middle of the bottom flap. Using microtip scissors, cut a .5" slit at the ends of the punched section, creating a flap for the top to tuck into. Ink Heidi Grace Flower stamp with embossing ink and stamp onto front of the card. Pour white embossing powder on top and emboss with heat gun. 2. Adhere a strip of white cardstock onto the punched flap. Ink Heidi Grace flower stamp with embossing ink and stamp onto white cardstock. Pour gold embossing powder on top and emboss with heat gun. Trim flower and adhere to the flap. Punch a flower out of gold paper with pop-up punch and adhere to the flap. Add pearls. Punch a tag using Tag You're It squeeze punch and adhere it to the card. 3. Punch two scalloped squares using Square-a-licious squeeze punch and cut in half on a diagonal, creating four triangles. Adhere card on the inside of the envelope with removable adhesive and stitch triangles onto each corner. Punch white cardstock strip with Scallop Sentiment border punch and adhere to the inside top flap. Add a strip of white cardstock and journaling.
