My kids bring home sheets and sheets of papers, forms, packets and pamphlets weekly from school.  It can be so difficult at times to keep it all straight.  I bet you know what I mean! Here’s a simple project where I recycled an old magazine file box to help my daughter stay organized.  I dressed it up with Fiskars Clear Stamps and Cloud 9 Designs Cinnamon Stick collection of papers and embellishments to give it some style.  And now we have a cute organizer to help store school work.  I think we’ll make a few more to line them up on a desk or shelf.

Instructions (Print version)

1. Cover magazine file box with patterned paper.
2. Use stamp blocks to stamp images onto patterned paper or mat stacks sheets with ink (embossing ink).
3. Cover stamped images with embossing powder (distressed embossing powder) and apply heat gun for effect.
4. Brush away excess powder to reveal distress effect.
5. Cut images using knife/scissors and apply to magazine file.
6. Apply brads, stickers, rub-ons and Rain Dots to further embellish.
