Instructions (Print version)

  1. Start with a 12x12 piece of tan cardstock as your base.
  2. Trim a piece of brown cardstock to 11x11 and matte in center on top of tan cardstock.
  3. Select and Punch aqua and green title letters and adhere to left side of layout.  Dot i’s with smaller flowers.
  4. Trim ¾ inch width strips of blue and green cardstock to use as flower stems.  Adhere in place on layout.  Adhere coordinating ribbon over each.
  5. Create first flower by tracing “center” circle template from flower shape template onto the backside of your paper, and trimming with scallop paper edgers.
  6. Next adhere this circle on top of 2nd patterned paper, and trim around edge with scallop paper edgers, to create a layered-look.
  7. Attach two green flowers to the center with a brad, and adhere to top of flower stem.
  8. Create second flower by tracing a 3-inch diameter circle onto backside of patterned paper, and trimming with scallop paper edgers.
  9. Use the ShapeXpress tool to trim the daffodil shape (in flower shape template) from a different patterned paper.  Adhere to top of circle already trimmed out.
  10. Attach two aqua flowers to the center with a brad, and adhere to top of second flower stem.
  11. Cut various shaped “leaves” from paper with microtip scissors, and attach to stems with brads.
  12. Matte 4x6 (or similar sized) photo onto tan cardstock and adhere to the right side of second flower stem.
  13. Print or handwrite journaling onto blue cardstock strips, trim, and attach to upper righthand corner of layout with brown brads.
