SweetDesigner: Becky Novacek The Compact Stamp Press makes lining up your stamps perfectly so easy! I love how the word phrases fit in the "frame" stamps-but without the press, I would have a hard time getting them in the right place. One of my favorite tools!

Instructions (Print version) Distress edges of pink background cardstock.
Distress edges of 8 x4 inch piece of kraft cardstock and 3 sides of dot cardstock. Use pinking paper edger to cut one long side of dot cardstock.
Adhere kraft and dot papers, side by side (to create photo mat) 2 inches from left side, top and bottom of background. Adhere 5x7 vertical photo to mat with a little larger margin to the left.
Stamp flourish onto kraft cardstock, overlapping on photo. Stamp dotted frame to photo, overlapping onto mat and background. Allow ink to dry.
Stamp journaling lines onto background toward the bottom right.
Measure a scrap of ledger paper to adhere to bottom of journaling lines. Tear the bottom edge, adhere and add vintage button.
When ink is dry, handwrite journaling.
Stamp "you're so sweet" into dotted frame. Allow to dry.
Adhere layered flowers and button to space on kraft mat.
Machine stitch around edge of layout twice.
Handstitch around stamped "you're so sweet" image. |
