Instructions
(Print version)
- Create a card with white cardstock that measures 4” x 4” (fold can be on top or at left).
- Use the Squares Template to cut a 3.5” x 3.5” square from the Green Floral paper. Mount this onto front of white card.
- Use the Ultra ShapeXpress, Craft Mat and Shapes (heart) Template to cut a heart from pink cardstock (with a white core). Place heart face down (use tape to keep in place) on the Filigree Texture Plate and use the Texturing Tool to emboss. (Option: Emboss a square of cardstock and then cut the heart from the embossed piece. Also a stylus can help define embossing if needed.)
- Lightly rub the embossing with sandpaper to reveal white core of cardstock.
- Use the 1/8” Eyelet Setter to set two white eyelets in the center of the heart about 1” apart.
- Thread white sheer ribbon through the eyelets and knot in front. Trim ends.
- Use the Hearts Border Punch to punch along the edge of white cardstock. Cut this into a strip.
- Lightly chalk punched strip with pink chalk.
- Wrap the punched strip around front flap of card about 1” up from the bottom.
- Place pink heart on front of card on foam tape.
