Designer: Lisa Truesdell
A canvas is a great way to play with techniques that just won’t fit on a standard scrapbook page. This tree showcases a cool 3d technique using my Fiskars circle punches. Heidi Grace’s new Daydream Believer line brings a beautiful, earthy feel to this project.

Instructions
(Print version)
1. Paint your canvas, using blue for the sky and green for the grass. Dry brush white paint on for clouds, and blend the edges with your finger if they are too severe. 2. Using the fingertip craft knife, cut a tree trunk from the vines paper. Machine stitch vertically along the tree trunk. 3. Using the fingertip craft knife, cut a large circle from the vines paper. Punch circles from both the vines paper and the mini floral paper. Adhere to the large circle using as little adhesive as possible. Stitch through each Vines circle and fold each circle upwards on both sides. 4. Adhere the tree trunk and tree top to the canvas using a strong adhesive. 5. Use letter stickers to spell out the quote along the bottom of the canvas, and rubons for the quote author. 6. Add dimensional flower stickers at the base of the tree. Use a brown pen to draw in stems and leaves.
